SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS!

This is a less than interesting title, but a necessary one, nevertheless. Bees, which are critical for our food system and beautiful plants in our neighborhood, continue to struggle to thrive and survive.

Think Like a Bee is at an intersection a-buzzing with our Pollinators in the Neighborhood plant giveaways and neighborhood education events. We need new members who are savvy in organizational skills—or willing to learn, enjoy working with the public and volunteers, and bring deep enthusiasm and passion for the work at hand with pollinator and habitat protection!

Think Like a Bee has received up to $50K in private grants and city funding this year, to roll out a big project of habitat education and native plant giveaways with neighborhood associations. We have a very active group of volunteers but need some dedicated Board members.

Please contact us if you have time or know of someone who’d bee just perfect for our board work. We are filling many roles at this time and want to interview YOU!

Here’s our blurb about us and whom we are looking for!

Think Like a Bee, is an active 501(c)3 who spearheaded Burque Bee City’s resolution for pollinator protection in 2016.

Join a thriving and expanding pollinator advocacy and education organization. We have a large web of volunteers and supporters and are currently in the midst of implementing the fourth year of a city-wide pollinator habitat initiative. With a budget of $50K, our non profit continues to be supported by CABQ Parks and Recreation, Councilor Feibelkorn and Bernalillo County Adrian Barboa’s office,

If you have a heart for pollinators, love engaging with the community at large and have organizational skills, we invite you to consider joining our team!

Contact Anita Amstutz, anita@thinklikeabee.org if interested!

All for the bees.
